  • 1/4 cup water (optional)
  • Honey or agave syrup to taste (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Wash the prickly pear cactus fruit thoroughly.
  2. Using a pair of tongs and a sharp knife, carefully remove the glochids (small spines) from the surface of the fruit.
  3. Cut the fruit into small pieces.
  4. Place the fruit in a blender and blend until smooth.
  5. If desired, add water to thin out the juice.
  6. Strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve to remove any seeds or pulp.
  7. Add honey or agave syrup to taste, if desired.
  8. Serve immediately or chill for later.

Tips:

  • To make the juicing process easier, you can peel the prickly pear cactus fruit before blending. However, this will remove some of the nutrients from the juice.
  • If you don't have a blender, you can mash the prickly pear cactus fruit with a potato masher and then strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve.
  • You can also add other fruits and vegetables to your prickly pear cactus juice, such as pineapple, mango, or cucumber.

Easy Dry Brushing For The Face, Head And Neck

Why dry brushing for the face, head and neck ?


Dry brushing for the face, head and neck is an easy technique that stimulates lymphatic drainage in the area.  The lymphatic system lies at the core of immunity and cleanses the body,

Movement of the lymphatic fluid or lymph can also be enhanced by:

- massage.
- body tapping.
- jumping on a trampoline.
- physical exercise.

Avoid habits that interfere with circulation. 

These include crossing the arms, crossing the legs, and sitting for long periods of time without getting up and stretching.  Get up every 15 minutes and stretch
if you sit at your job or at home.

Sunbathe. 

Spend 20-30 minutes each day in the sun as it is helpful for the lymphatic system.


However, dry brushing is extremely useful in cleansing the body,

Note that some techniques for dry brushing the face, neck and head begin by brushing up from the area below the collar bone. 

I personally find that this movement causes me to experience acid reflux at times.  Therefore, pay attention to that.

How I Resolved Palpitations Of Acid Reflux With Diet And Lifestyle Changes

ACID REFLUX SYMPTOMS 


I used to suffer from palpitations as a result of acid reflux. It was terrible and I could not get rid of them for a long, long time.These interventions helped me to resolve the palpitations, but I am still working on healing the GI system.

Symptoms of acid reflux include stomach bloating, gastric burning, palpitations, stomach fullness and nausea. Maybe you tested positive for H. pylori which, by the way, is a parasite.


A lifestyle change is needed




Food hygiene and diet


- Thoroughly wash raw veggies and fruits before eating. I use apple cider vinegar to disinfect. The zappicator from bestzapper.com also disinfects.
- Increase intake of veggies - at least 3 cups per day - cooked .

- Reduce intake of processed foods because they do not add value and contain chemicals and other irritants. 
- Anti - inflammatory foods like ginger, turmeric, 2 cloves of garlic daily in food, herbs such as thyme, peppermint, 
- Reduce fatty foods as they tend to increase bloating and discomfort.

Increase water intake 

Divide your weight in pounds by 2 multiplied by 30 to get your daily intake. Boil the water or use spring water. There is a water app on Google Play to remind one to drink water.

Exercise

- Exercise to reduce stress which decreases blood flow to the GI tract and sets up the process of inflammation and reflux. I do Tai Chi. Some exercises that work the core can irritate the reflux by forcing stomach contents backward into the esophagus - as I know from experience.
- I recently began daily Intestinal exercises to increase blood flow and increase digestion. I am beginning to see my lost six pack returning very slowly. I had to stop Pilates as a result since all of the exercises work the core.

Some changes may not be tolerable immediately, but the digestive enzymes and increased veggies helped a lot.

GENTLE CLEANSE FORMULATION FROM HEAVEN (7th June2016)


This formulation was given to me by Archangel Michael. It is a smoothie type mixture which can be made in a blender, smoothie maker, food processor etc. It is very gentle and soothing on the system and does the job of sweeping the colon which should be kept clean.


The principle:


- God wants humans to cleanse at least once per year. Israel did it in the first month at the Feast of Unleavened Bread when they ate no leaven and ate bitter herbs at the Feast of Passover.

Contents

- at least two fruits - one should at least be fibrous - like mangoes, pineapple
- at least 4 seeds and/or nuts e.g. pumpkin, shredded coconut, linseed aka flaxseed, almonds, pomengranate, papaw seeds
- antiinflammatory agents - ginger, tumeric (He said always to have tumeric in the diet), rosemary, thyme etc
- carrot - for the eyes
- Greens - e.g. spinach - 6 leaves, green superfood powder if you have but use local greens

The Recipe that I was given based on what I had -

Fruit

- 1/2 to 1/4 medium sized banana
- 1/4 of a medium sized papaya/pawpaw
- 1 small mango
- any other that you have

Vegetable

- 1/4 of a small carrot
- or any other that you have e.g. broccoli

Seeds and nuts (at least 4)


- 6 - 12 almonds (Bonadies has small packages)
- 1 teaspoon shredded coconut (could be more)
- 1 tablespoon linseed/flaxseed if ground or 1/4 if whole
- 1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds

Anti - inflammatory


- 1 inch ginger
- 1/4 inch tumeric
- 1/4 inch local chocolate
- 1 leaf of rosemary
- you can use thyme, sage, onion, etc

Greens (at least one)

- spinach 6 leaves
- superfood powder if you have
- any green that you have

Prepare in a blender, smoothie maker, food processer or what ever you have. A thick mixture like icecream will be produced. Dilute it a bit if you like, but not too much. The preparation should have some thickness.

The contents can be adjusted based on product availability, taste etc. Take the formulation at least once a day. Don't take it just before you need to go any where because it takes about 1/2 hour to work. Meantime, drink teas during the day to hydrate e.g. sage, moringa, ginger, tumeric, cinnamon, rosemary, soursop. 

Use the cleanse daily until abdominal bloating, gas, rumbling and other discomforts disappear and until your abdomen reduces in size. Thereafter, use at least twice a week...
